【Intended use】 This product is used for in vitro qualitative detection of benzodiazepine  (BZO) in human urine. Benzodiazepines are widely used anti-anxiety drugs, which are often used  clinically as anti-anxiety drugs, hypnotics, muscle relaxants and anticonvulsants. The pharmacological activity of benzodiazepines can be exhibited by  both oral and injection, and benzodiazepines and their metabolites are  excreted in the urine. Benzodiazepines can cause drowsiness and have the  same effects as alcohol and other central nervous system depressants.  Physiological and psychological dependence can develop after long-term  high-dose use. 

【Testing principle】 This product adopts colloidal gold immunochromatography technology and  the principle of competitive inhibition method to qualitatively detect  benzodiazepine (BZO) in human urine. The detection area (T) and quality  control area (C) on the nitrocellulose membrane are respectively coated with  BZO-BSA conjugate and goat anti-chicken IgY, and the binding pad contains  colloidal gold marker of chicken IgY-BZO antibody. During the test, if the  concentration of BZO in the urine sample is less than 300ng/ml, the colloidal  gold marker of chicken IgY-BZO antibody cannot fully bind to it. The  unbound colloidal gold marker will interact with the BZO-BSA conjugate  immobilized on the nitrocellulose membrane during the chromatography,  and a purple-red band appears at the detection area (T). If the concentration  of BZO in the urine sample is higher than 300ng/ml, all the colloidal gold  marker of chicken IgY-BZO antibody are bound, so that no purple-red band  appears at the detection area (T). Regardless of whether BZO is present in  the urine sample, a purple-red band will appear at the quality control area  (C). The purple-red band is used to determine whether there are enough urine  samples and whether the chromatography processes meet the normal  standards, and also serve as an internal control standard for the test kit.
