【Intended use】 This product is used for in vitro qualitative detection of ketamine (KET) in  human urine. Ketamine is a derivative of phenylcyclohexylpiperidine. It is used as a  surgical anesthetic in medicine. After taking it, there will be "depersonalization", "dereality", changes in human body image, dreams, hallucinations,  and nausea and vomiting. Taking large doses will cause confusion, stupor,  respiratory depression, and even limb convulsions and respiratory arrest and  other phenomena; long-term use can cause memory loss, cognitive impairment and psychosis. 70%-90% of ketamine taken by the human body is  metabolized in the liver and excreted through urine. Its metabolism in the  body is fast, and the elimination half-life is about 2.5 hours. Generally, it can  be detected within 2-4 hours after ingestion. 

【Testing principle】 This product adopts colloidal gold immunochromatography technology and  the principle of competition method to qualitatively detect KET in human  urine. The test area (T) and the quality control area (C) on the nitrocellulose  membrane were respectively coated with KET-BSA conjugate and goat  anti-chicken IgY, and the binding pad contained colloidal gold KET antibody  and colloidal gold chicken IgY antibody. During the detection, if the KET  concentration in the urine sample is less than 1000ng/ml, the colloidal gold  KET antibody cannot be fully bound, the unconjugated colloidal gold KET  antibody binds to the KET-BSA conjugate in the test area (T), and a red band  appears in the test area (T). If the KET concentration in the urine sample is  higher than 1000ng/ml, the colloidal gold KET antibody is all bound and no  red band appears in the test area (T). Regardless of whether the sample  contains KET, a red band will appear in the quality control area (C). The red  band in the quality control area (C) is used to determine whether the sample  is enough and the chromatography process meets the normal standard, and it  also serves as the internal control standard of the reagent.
